Biography

Wayne Dubois is a CF-L1 Coach/Trainer that began lifting weights in high school, competing in Power and Olympic lifting in his senior year. In the early 90’s he was a competitive natural bodybuilder. Soon after, he became a law enforcement officer in the mid 90’s and was selected to be a part of a regional SWAT team. As a member of the SWAT team that was required to pass a physical test annually, which meant he was in great shape right? Wrong. He soon became aware that the physical standards were minimum standards and the training he was doing helped me to look like he was in good shape, but was far from being in the kind of shape to be able to face the “unknown and unknowable.” After being introduced to Functional Fitness, he was hooked by the constant challenges it brought, as well as the improvements he saw in himself. Additionally he has been a law enforcement instructor for over 10 years and has coached his own kids in Functional Fitness. He has been able to see them make great improvements in their physical abilities and it has been a great motivator to work with people that have a great desire to improve, but just need some guidance in doing so. His goal is to help you meet your fitness goals, and be a positive influence in helping others defeat any barrier to their improvement.
